Spoon the seasoning into a clean, completely dry, airtight jar. Label the jar with the name and the date.
Store in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight, heat, and steam. Use within about six months for the best flavor.

Use Ratio: 2 to 3 tbsp per 1 lb meat
Add Water: ~¼ cup for better coating
Shelf Life: Up to 6 months
Storage: Airtight container away from heat
Once you make your own taco seasoning, store-bought packets stop making sense. Makes about 6 tablespoons of seasoning, or 7 tablespoons with the cornstarch. Use 2 tablespoons per pound of meat.
